NBT-272 treatment of human MB cells results in down-regulation of c-MYC protein. NBT-272 treatment (24 h) of MB cells resulted in no consistent changes of c-MYC mRNA expression as determined by quantitative RT-PCR (A), but in a decrease of c-MYC protein expression as determined by Western blot analysis (A, B). Values represent the percentage of c-MYC mRNA (n = 3; ± SD) and c-MYC protein expression (representative from two independent experiments) compared with solvent only treated cells.
