  1. NCI/ADR-RES cells were treated with 35 μM PE5 or 5 μM onconase for 24, 48 and 72 h, stained with Annexin V-Alexa 488 and PI and analyzed by flow cytometry. Cells undergoing early apoptosis were positive for Annexin V and negative for PI (Annexin V+/PI-), late apoptotic cells were Annexin V+/PI+ and necrotic cells were Annexin V-/PI+. All data were expressed as mean ± SE of three different experiments. Values were analyzed from 10,000 total events.
