The forest plot for inflammation markers associated with the breast cancer risk. The multivariable Cox regression was performed to identify blood inflammation markers measured at baseline that may associate with the risk of breast cancer incidence. The fully adjusted model adjusted for UK Biobank assessment centers, BMI, smoking, family history of breast cancer, number of births, oral contraceptive use, hormone replacement therapy, age at menarche and menopausal status. Considering false-positive findings caused by multiple testing, biomarkers with P for trend < 0.05/9 (the Bonferroni corrected threshold) were considered statistically significant. The biomarkers significantly associated with breast cancer risk were shown in the forest plot, and the detailed results were provided in Supplementary Table 2
