  1. The preferences measurement questions refer to the trade-offs between two listed treatments. Taking the example of the Post’s study, the question would be “the desired 5-year overall survival benefit over the baseline rate to accept chemoradiotherapy relative to radiotherapy alone”. Then the value to this question, namely, the threshold score of physicians was 5%, lower than the corresponding rate of patients as 10%.
