Reduced expression of SK1, SK2 and DESG1 genes after treatment under hypoxic conditions. NCH82 cells treated with the vehicle control (DMSO), 48 µM TMZ, 2.66 µM SKI-II and the combination (TMZ + SKI-II) for 24 h under normoxia (21% O2) and hypoxia (3% O2) were analyzed for the expression of SK1 (sphingosine kinase 1); SK2 (sphingosine kinase 2); and DESG1 (dihydroceramide desaturase 1) by RT-qPCR. Data represent mean (± SD) of n = 3. Two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s multiple comparisons test was performed for statistical analysis
