  1. Pearson’s chi square test used for comparisons of categorical variables, and Fisher’s exact test used when n < 5 in any cell. For all continuous comparisons ANOVA test was used. Continuous variables are presented as mean plus/minus standard deviation. NILM (Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy), LSIL (low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion), HSIL (high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion), ICC (invasive cervical cancer). Not all cells sum to N due to missing responses
