The majority of the mass in the hybrid cell-derived tumors comes from non-tumor cells. (A) Tissue sections of SCCVII/SF-GFP (SCC), D2 and D3 tumors were stained with anti-GFP antibody and DAPI (nuclear stain), and the resulting signals were pseudo-colored as green and red, respectively. Tumor cells: yellow nuclei; non-tumor cells: red nuclei. (B) Left panel: GFP expression was used to gate the cell suspensions to differentiate between the tumor cells (GFP+) and non-tumoral cells (GFP-).
