AGA effects on colon cancer cells proliferation and viability. A After 24 h of culture, colon cancer cells SW620, SW480, and HT29 were treated with a medium containing vehicle control (0 mg AGA) or increasing concentrations of AGA. Treated and control cells were harvested at 0, 48, and 72 h. Cell proliferation was quantified with MTT Assay. B After treating SW620, SW480, and HT29 cells with increasing AGA concentrations (0 to 20 mg) at 37 °C for 72 h, the colony formation was determined along with its quantification (C). Results are expressed as the mean percentage of control growth ± SD of three independent experiments with n = 3. p values were determined by one-way ANOVA. * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, and *** p < 0.001
