  1. TCGA breast invasive carcinoma DNA methylation (Illumina Infinium HumanMethylation450) and gene expression microarray datasets were analyzed. Representative statistics demonstrated correlation between Notch signaling gene expression and their DNA methylation status. Gene expressions were not found to be correlated with DNA methylation. Gene expressions were found to be negatively correlated with DNA methylation for most Notch pathway effectors. The Pearson correlation coefficients (r) and the relative p-values are shown. The association between genes was measured using the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and respective computed P-value
