SSE repressed the migration and invasion of renal cancer cells. A A wound healing assay, a transwell assay without matrigel for cell migration (B) and a transwell assay with matrigel for cell invasion (C) were performed on 786-O and ACHN cells following SSE treatment for 24 h. Following SSE treatment for 6 h, E-cadherin, MMP-9 and VEGF were determined in cells using real-time RT PCR (D) and Western blot (E). β-Actin mRNA and β-actin were used as loading controls.
