Allograft formation by decreasing amounts of various PTD cell lines. Athymic nude mice were s.c. injected. The number of inoculated cells varied from 106 to 103 as indicated for the PTD lines analyzed. PTD12AD4 is a cell line derived from an allograft generated by s.c. injection of 2.5 × 106 cells PTD12 (see text and Additional file 19: Fig. S9). The cells were mixed with Matrigel before injection.
