Association between histological response and radiological response. Among 64 patients included in this study, PR, SD, and PD were observed in 14, 47, and 3 patients, respectively. The median percentage of the residual tumor area was 14% in PR and 40% in non-PR (SD and PD). The percentage of the residual tumor in PR was significantly lower than that in non-PR (p = 0.0130). * PR: partial response; SD: stable disease; PD: progressive disease
