Values represent the mean percentage of mean fluorescence ± SEM of nine independent experiments. For all four markers, the percentage of fluorescence increased significantly after CDCA treatment compared to control values normalized at 100%. The inhibitor agents (LCA, Z-guggulsterone) in combination with CDCA decreased the percentage of fluorescence compared to CDCA used alone (*** p < 0.001, ** p < 0.01)
