Glioma cell lines (U87MG, A172 and U373MG) were transfected with pGL3F4 and pGL3B (promoterless vector). Luciferase activity was analysed by dual luciferase assay after 48 h of transfection. Significant increase in luciferase activity of pGL3F4 was found, with U87MG showing the highest luciferase activity followed by A172 and U373MG
