HPV integration into the human genome resulted in the partial deletion within the HPV genome. a) In tumor 518, there are HPV-human junction sites detected at the 2035 and 4383 in the HPV16 genome which is exactly where the partial HPV sequences were deleted. b). In tumor 569, there are HPV-human junction sites detected at the 2251 and 4403 in the HPV16 genome which is exactly where the partial HPV sequences were deleted. The identified HPV-human junction sequence reads are shown in each figure. The arrow is indicated as 5’to 3′ direction in both human and HPV sequences
