Initial tumor growth. The model based on the age structure shows the tumor inhibition delay for the initial phase at approximately 2 days even though a 200 nM payload is administrated. Here, T1+T2 in (b) is the total tumor cell size, represented by Ag+ and Ag– cells, and considers the bystander-killing effect from the payload, whereas T3+T4 in (a) does not consider the bystander-killing effect. The ratio of difference between them to the initial tumor size is shown in (c)
