Luciferase-expressing C42B cells were seeded in mono- or co-cultures with stromal cells (BMSC, osteoblasts or adipocytes) either in 2D monolayer cultures (a) or in 3D microtissue cultures (b). Results are represented as the mean bioluminescence values. Similar results were obtained in three independent experiments with two BMSC donors, each having four replicate cultures n = 4.
