Inhibition of miR-186-5p reduces metastatic PCa cell invasion. PC-3 and MDA-PCa -2b cells were transiently transfected with scrambled control or miR-186-5p inhibitor for 24 h. Post-transfection, cell invasion through the Matrigel-coated filter was assessed using a transwell assay. a Representative images of PC-3 and MDA-PCa-2b cells after 24 h, 20X magnification. b Quantification of cell invasion showed the miR-186-5p inhibitor reduced PC-3 invasion (p = 0.008).
