Effects of NCTD on the key proteins regulating cell cycle and apoptosis in HCT116 (a) and HT29 (b) human colon cancer cells. The cells were seeded in 10-cm dishes for 24 h and then treated with different concentrations of NCTD. After 72 h of incubation, cells were collected for western blot analysis as described in the Materials and Methods. The numbers underneath of the blots represent band intensity (normalized to β-Actin, means of three independent experiments) measured by Image J software.
