CPT activates AMPK in a concentration and time dependent manner in cancer cells. Serum-starved Rh30 cells were firstly exposed to CPT (0-5 μmol/L) for 2 h (a) or to CPT (2.5 μmol/L) for the indicated time (b), then stimulated with IGF-1 (10 ng/mL) for 1 h, followed by western blotting assay for proteins expression of p-AMPK, AMPK, p-ACC, ACC. c The same experiments were repeated in MCF-7 cells and Rh30 cells by CPT (0-20 μmol/L)
