Case selection and flow diagram for molecular testing of ampullary adenocarcinoma. Seventy-nine cases of ampullary adenocarcinoma were identified for this study. Tumor specimens were assigned a reference histological subtype (intestinal or pancreaticobiliary) by a gastrointestinal pathologist. The comparator cohort comprised 54 cases to measure the prognostic performance of the 3 classifiers: 92-gene classifier, histological subtype, and histomolecular phenotype
