(a) After treatment with serial concentrations of SSd for 24 h, cell survival of, cytotoxicity against, and caspase-3/7 activity in HSC-T6 cells were detected by an ApoTox-Glo™ Triplex assay kit. Caspase-9 activity was detected by a Caspase-Glo® 9 assay kit. (b) The same experiments described were performed in LX-2 cells. The data are the mean ± S.D. from 3 independent experiments
