Treatment with the analogs 2a–c induce expression of E-cadherin and β-catenin at the cell surface. The cells were treated with a 50 nM concentration of the compounds for 72 h. a–c E-cadherin, β-catenin and vimentin, respectively, detected with immunofluorescence microscopy after appropriate labeling with specific primary antibodies followed by secondary Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated antibodies (green).
