Silver nanoparticles of smaller size (10–40 nm) are effective in reducing and or repairing the formation of CPDs in UVB-exposed human Keratinocytes. HaCaT cells (1×106/plate) seeded in UV transparent glass plates were treated with AgNPs (1 μg/mL) of different size (10–100 nm) for 3 h prior to UVB-exposure (40 mJ/cm2). After 24 h, genomic DNA was isolated and subjected to dot-blot analysis using an antibody specific to CPDs
