Immunohistochemistry revealed a significant decrease of the proliferation (red) in the therapy group (a) in comparison to the placebo group (b). The number of vessels (red) in the therapy group (c) decreased in comparison to the untreated group (d) and we observed a significant increase of the apoptosis rate (red) in the treatment group (e) compared with the placebo group (f).
