Gestational choriocarcinoma. Pre and post treatment CT scans of the chest showing multiple lung metastases and pulmonary haemorrhage at diagnosis, 12 weeks post partum and a normal scan at completion of chemotherapy. The treatment graph shows the fall and normalisation of the hCG level with combination chemotherapy treatment. The baby was unaffected by the illness, the patient has completed treatment and gone on to have another healthy baby and has been cured of this rare malignancy.
