Figure 4From: Cyclophilin C-associated protein (CyCAP) knock-out mice spontaneously develop colonic mucosal hyperplasia and exaggerated tumorigenesis after treatment with carcinogen azoxymethane1 The differences in the crypt length and crypt cell content are more obvious between WT and KO animals after the treatment by azoxymethane. After the treatment by azoxymethane, the CyCAP-/- mice develop more extensive mucosal hyperplasia of the colon than WT animals (p < 0.0001, T-test).
