(A) LASP-1 is highly overexpressed in physiologically proliferating epidermal basal cells, compared to superficial epidermal strata or dermal connective tissue cells. (B+C) LASP-1 is localized abundantly in nuclei of invasive breast cancer cells compared to LASP-1-negative nuclei of stromal cells. (D) Invasive breast cancer cells with LASP-1-negative nuclei but perinuclear and cytosolic LASP-1 overexpression.
