  1. The histological variables (coagulative necrosis, intratumoral hemorrhage, lymphocytic infiltration, peritumoral edema, peripheric pseudopalisading) were regarded as present or absent. Mitosis was counted in ten high power fields (HPF) of the periphery of the lesion, and the average of this counting was used as mitotic index. *P < 0.05, Students t-Test.
