From: Involvement of adiponectin in early stage of colorectal carcinogenesis
Serum adiponectin concentration according to gender in controls, and patients with advanced adenoma and CRC. Significant gender differences were seen for each lesion. Serum adiponectin concentrations in males with advanced adenoma and CRC were significantly lower than those in the control group.
