Derivative 4 inhibits Prostaglandin E2 secretion in MDA-MB-231 cells. Conditioned medium from 24 h treated or untreated culture wells were collected and PGE₂ levels were assayed using Prostaglandin E2 EIA kit. At 6 mM concentration, 4 could significantly reduce PGE₂ secretion in MDA-MB-231 cells compared to NS.
