Inhibition of cell growth by ACR alone, BKM120 alone, or various combinations of these agents in HCC cells. (A) HLF human HCC cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of ACR alone, BKM120 alone, or various combinations of these agents for 48 hours. Cell viability was determined by the MTS assay and expressed as a percentage of the control value. (B) The data obtained in (A) was used to calculate the combination index.
