Nuclear accumulation of Smad3 and Smad4 in normal HKc, HKc/HPV16 and HKc/DR following treatment with TGF-β. After treatment with 40 pM TGF-β for various times (0 to 60 min), cells were immunostained for Smad3 (A) and Smad4 (B), and nuclei were visualized with DAPI.
