Mifepristone (MF) abrogates the formation of escape foci of OV2008 cells following cisplatin (CDDP)-paclitaxel (PTX) therapy. (C), (D), and (E) depict the number and morphological features of cells that were exposed to CDDP and PTX and then either maintained untreated or exposed to MF for 6 or 8 days. In (C) the dashed line represents the number of cells initially plated. Panels (F) and (G) depict the DNA content of exponentially growing cells (VEHICLE), cells that received CDDP and PTX, or cells exposed to CDDP-PTX plus MF as measured on day 6 (F) or 8 (G) after initial treatment.
