Immunohistochemistry (IHC) stain for VEGF showed a lower level of VEGF expression in the xenograft tumor from the animal received MSeA-treatment. A. Control. Target VEGF protein (brown cytoplasm) was extensively and highly expressed in a MDA-MB-231 cell-induced tumor of a representative nude mouse receiving no MSeA administration as control. B. MSeA treatment. VEGF protein expression was at a much lower percentage and level in xenograft tumor of a representative nude mouse receiving oral administration of MSeA at 3 mg/kg/day for 18 days.
