Cells were incubated with 15, 30, and 60 μM squamocin for 24 h. Apoptotic cells were determined by a PI and annexin V double-staining assay and analysis by flow cytometry. Annexin V-/PI-, annexin V+/PI- and annexin V+/PI+ cells were respectively considered to be viable, early-apoptotic, and late-apoptotic cells. Cells without squamocin treatment served as a control.
