  1. Components of the diets used are listed in grams per 100 grams of food. The fat in the standard diet derived from soybean oil; the fat source of the ketogenic diet consisted of a mixture of vegetable oils from flaxseed and hempseed with elevated levels of omega-3 fatty acid and medium-chain triglycerides [31]. The ketogenic ratio was calculated according to the following formula: Fats/(Protein + Carbohydrates).
