ALDH enzyme activity (a-b) and CD49f expression (e) in two cervical cancer cell lines were analyzed by flow cytometry after 18 h exposure to different drug and following culture in drug-free culture medium for 3 days. As a negative control for ALDH, the cells were treated with the specific ALDH inhibitor DEAB. The gated cells represent the ALDH-positive cells. Disulfiram/copper complex inhibited the expression of ALDH (c-d) and CD49f (f-g) in SiHa and HeLa cells.
