Analysis of SEC62 and vimentin expression in swabbed cells by immunofluorescence cytology. Sec62 (left column, green) and vimentin (middle left column, red) stainings are shown for two representative patients. In the middle right column, both signals are merged and a blue signal indicating the DAPI-stained nuclei is added. Subsequently, the same smears were stained according to Papanicolaou (right column) for morphological evaluation of the respective cells and classified according to the Bethesda system as LSIL (a) and HSIL (b).
