Down-regulation of the expression of AR and PSA after expression of C/EBPα in LNCaP cells. A. As described in the Methods whole cell extracts were obtained from LNCaP clone 2 cells at passage 3 and passage 8 and from corresponding control cells, subjected to SDS-PAGE and western blot analysis for AR, PSA, C/EBPα, and β-tubulin. The two right panels show the relative expression of AR and PSA at passage 3 and passage 8 after densitometry analysis of the western blot was standardized to β-tubulin expression. The open bars represent the Clone 2 cells expressing C/EBPα and the dark bars, the corresponding control LNCaP cells transduced with vector alone. B.
