Effect of E-cadherin knockdown on Paxillin expression. MDCK pTR cells stably expressing E-cadherin shRNA were incubated for 3 days in the presence of tetracycline, and were analyzed by immunofluorescence to detect E-cadherin and Paxillin. The expression of E-cadherin shRNA is induced only in 30-40% of total cells in this cell line, and the knockdown of E-cadherin is observed in the right half of the presented image.
