* Among the 187 women with palpable lumps ≥ 50 mm by CBE, 101 were found to have smaller lumps based on the postoperative evaluation and were categorized as stage I or stage IIA (16 as stage I; 85 as stage IIA). The rest 86 were categorized as stage IIB.
