DRD3 may influence malignant biological behaviors of HCC cells via the cAMP/ERK/CREB pathway. (A, B) Overexpression of DRD3 decreased the levels of cAMP detected by ELISA, p-ERK and p-CREB detected by Western blot, while knock-down of DRD3 increased the levels of cAMP, p-ERK and p-CREB which could be reversed by treating with SCH772984 (1 µM). (C, D, E, F) SCH772984 (1 µM) abolished the effect of knock-down of DRD3 on the proliferation, migration and invasion of HCC cells. * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01, *** P < 0.001.
