Table 3 Severity of breast disease, lipid panel and PCSK9 levels: partial correlation analyses. Dependent variables were adjusted for age and BMI. No correlation between tumor stage (benign disease of the breast, stage 0 breast cancer, stage III breast cancer) and the lipid profile, ANGPTL3 or Lp(a) was obtained; however a significant correlation between PCSK9 levels and tumor stage, as measured by Spearman Rho coefficient, was obtained (*p < 0.05)
