Characterization of EGFRvIII-GL261/Fluc cells. a Both GL261/Fluc and EGFRvIII-GL261 cells were double-stained with WGA (wheat Germ Agglutinin, red) and EFGRvIII (green). Nuclei were stained with DAPI (blue). b EGFRvIII expression on the cell surface was detected with Alex488 by flow cytometry. c EGFRvIII- GL261/Fluc cells were treated without (-) or with ( +) LY294002 (PI3K inhibitor) to identify the kinetic activity of EGFRvIII. Phosphorylation levels of PI3K and AKT from cell lysates were analyzed by western blotting using p-PI3K p85(Y458) and pAKT(S473) antibodies.
