Induction of apoptosis on 786-O and ACHN cells by SSE. The percentage of total apoptotic cells was defined as the sum of early and late apoptotic cells. The expressions of apoptosis related protein were determined in cells using real-time RT PCR (B) and Western blot (C). In ACHN cells, BAY (10 μM) was used without or with SSE (10 μM) for 6 h. β-Actin mRNA and β-tubulin were used as loading controls. The blots shown are representatives.
