From: Exposure–response analyses of cabozantinib in patients with metastatic renal cell cancer
Proposed cabozantinib treatment algorithm. Patients start treatment at the dose of 40 mg once daily (OD). PK samples will be collected 4 and 12 weeks after start of treatment and every 24 weeks thereafter. The dose can be adjusted according to the treatment algorithm (4B) after checking for treatment adherence and drug-drug interactions. After dose adjustment, a new PK sample will be collected after 4 weeks. * Signs of response can be based on clinical symptoms, improvement of laboratory values (e.g. haemoglobin, albumin, calcium level) or based on radiological evaluation of tumour burden.
