Knockdown of circSMAD2 significantly inhibited the viability of GBC cells. (A) The expression of circSMAD2 in GBC and adjacent normal tissues was detected by RT-qPCR. (B) The level of circSMAD2 in HIBEpic, GBS-SD and G415 cells was investigated by RT-qPCR. (C, D) GBC cells were transfected with circSMAD2 siRNA1, circSMAD2 siRNA2 or circSMAD2 siRNA3. Then, the efficiency of cell transfection was tested by RT-qPCR. (E, F) GBC cells were transfected with circSMAD2 siRNA1 or circSMAD2 siRNA3. The viability of GBC cells was investigated by CCK-8 assay. **P < 0.01 compared to normal tissues, HIBEpic or blank
