Schematic summary of lncRNAs HERH-1/4 mediated cell cycle acceleration in the advanced HCC cells. HERH-1 bound with the transcription factor CREB1 and facilitated its promotion on CCNA2 transcription. HERH-4 acted as a ceRNA to absorb miR-29b/c and shield CCNA2 mRNA from degradation. These two lncRNAs enhanced CCNA2 expression and accelerated HCC cell cycle progression. These pathways may be part of the mechanism of HCC progression
