The effect of ovarian cycle stage on 21-gene experimental recurrence scores. Estrogen receptor-positive mammary tumours were collected from Mmtv-Pymt transgenic mice at either the estrus (n = 25) or diestrus (n = 28) phase of the ovarian cycle. 21-gene recurrence scores were calculated from reference-normalised gene expression as described in the methods.
